Patching is the easiest and cheapest operation to carry out with the absolute minimum disruption, it is done completely internally with no need to dig up or completely reline your drain.

Pipe re-lining allows you to restore the structural integrity of a pipe without excavating. Damage to the pipe may have been caused by root intrusion, partial collapse / hole in pipe or leakage from or into the pipe. All of these problems can be solved by re-lining. The key benefits of a reline is that it's simple, does not disturb the surrounding area and the pipe capacity stays the same most times improving the flow.

There are some instances where we may not be able to re-line your drains, and so in this case, excavation work is carried out. We may need to access the actual drain to either repair or replace which requires direct access.

Patching, Re-lining or Excavation?

If the patching service can be carried out, this is the best and most cost effective solution, however the problem may have gone past this stage and so then Re-lining is the best option. There is no disruption to the environment by digging. A simple insulation tube or liner is placed inside the original tube.
The liner traverses round bends following the precise contours of the host pipe. Once in position the resin sets bonding the liner to the pipe walls. Fractures and open joints are sealed increasing pipe strength and eliminating the chances of smells and leaks.
